Partnership Agreement

In the agreement between JISL and ASU:

JISL agrees to:

  • Collaborate with ASU on the Empowerment for Peace by Leadership in Agribusiness & Sustainability; Eradicate Poverty in Rural Communities   (EmPeace LABS) project and on developing a global  EmPeace LABS Network.
  • Specifically work with UCP-SARnet and on projects that will be selected by the Parties as the area of collaboration.
  • If agreed on, co-sponsor relevant projects related to leadership in agribusiness that could be conducted in countries participating in EmPeace LABS project.
  • Provide organizational support for and participate in yearly International Leadership Workshops organized by GRF  and ASU in frame of the EmPeace LABS project.
  • Collaborate with ASU on other specific projects that will be selected by parties as the area of collaboration.
  • Collaborate with ASU  on identifying the needs and resources for carrying out the programs developed jointly by JISL and ASU.
  • Provide internship opportunities for ASU students.
  • Provide opportunities for research in agriculture, agricultural education, sustainability and specifically water management that could be conducted by ASU faculty and other members of the EmPeace LABS Network.  
  • Register at least one staff member as a UCP-SARnet member to serve as a contact person with network's Executive Team.

ASU agrees to:

  • Collaborate with JISL on the Empowerment for Peace by Leadership in Agribusiness & Sustainability; Eradicate Poverty in Rural Communities   (EmPeace LABS) project and on developing a global  EmPeace LABS Network.
  • Specifically work with JIS on projects that will be selected by JISL and ASU as the area of cooperation.
  • Assist JISL in creating of the Global Network of people interested in development of a Water University.
  • Make publicity for JISL achievements in the area of corporate responsibility and sustainability.
  • If requested, make publicity through its own channels for the events organized by JISL.
  • Designate one member of UCP-SARnet's Executive Team to be a contact person with JISL with the task to facilitate networking between JISL and EmPeace LABS Network.
  • Invite JISL and its partners to participate in international events organized, co-organized or featured by  EmPeace LABS Network.

In the agreement between GRF and ASU:

GRF agrees to:

  • Collaborate with ASU on the Empowerment for Peace by Leadership in Agribusiness & Sustainability; Eradicate Poverty in Rural Communities   (EmPeace LABS) project and on developing a global  EmPeace LABS Network.
  • Organize together with ASU  yearly International Leadership Training workshops (EmPeace LABS )) and host these workshops
  • In frame of EmPeace LABS project organize together with ASU local Leadership Training workshops in countries participating in the yearly international trainings.
  • Collaborate with ASU on other specific projects that will be selected by the Parties as the area of collaboration.
  • Collaborate with ASU on identifying the needs and resources for carrying out the programs developed jointly by GRF and ASU.
  • If requested, make publicity through its own channels for the online courses and workshops based on UCP-SARnet portal and for other ASU initiatives relevant to the mission of this partnership.
  • Organize and sponsor internships for ASU students interested in agriculture, water management, peace education, non-violent conflict resolution, Gandhi's studies, and any discipline that supports the goals of GRF.
  • Provide organizational assistance for relevant research project conducted by members of EmPeace LABS Network.
  • Create on its website a link to the ASU website and to the UCP-SARnet portal.
  • Register at least one GRF staff member as a UCP-SARnet member to serve as a contact  person with EmPeace LABS Network
  • Invite ASU  members and partners to participate in international events relevant to the parties mission organized, co-organized or featured by GRF  and other members of EmPeace LABS network.

ASU agrees to:

  • Collaborate with GRF  on the Empowerment for Peace by Leadership in Agribusiness & Sustainability; Eradicate Poverty in Rural Communities (EmPeace LABS) project and on developing a global  EmPeace LABS Network.
  • Organize together with GRF yearly International Leadership Training workshops (EmPeace LABS 20).
  • In frame of EmPeace LABS project organize together with GRF  local Leadership Training workshops in countries participating in the yearly international trainings.
  • Collaborate with GRF on other specific projects that will be selected by the Parties as the area of collaboration.
  • Create a web page for the EmPeace LABS project on UCP-SARnet's portal and on ASU website.
  • Create on the UCP-SARnet website an interface page with information about GRF and a link to its website.
  • Collaborate with GRF on identifying the needs and resources for carrying out the programs developed jointly by GRF and ASU. 
  • If requested, make publicity through its own channels for trainings, workshops and  initiatives relevant to the mission of this partnership.
  • Organize and sponsor internships for ASU students interested in agriculture, water management, peace education, non-violent conflict resolution, Gandhi's studies, and any discipline that supports the goals of GRF.
  • Provide organizational assistance for research project conducted by EmPeace LABS Network.
  • Assist GRF in the process of creating partnerships with Gandhi organizations as well as peace and non violence centers worldwide.
  • Designate one member of UCP-SARnet's Executive Team to be a contact person with GRF with the task to facilitate networking between GRF and UCP-SARnet's individual and organizational members.
  • Invite GRF members and partners to participate in international events relevant to the Parties mission organized, co-organized or featured by ASU and other members of EmPeace LABS network.
Officially collaboration on EmPeace LABS project will be initiated at the EmPeace LABS 2012 leadership training workshop organized in Jalgaon on October 18 - 26.
