Human Rights and Social Justice
We are all created Free and Equal. Oftentimes the MDG issues are intertwined with problems related to Human Rights and Social Justice. The premise of the discussions here are that work towards the MDGs go hand in hand with the realization of all clauses in the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.

The country of Bangladesh has made significant progress in the MDG's since the year 2009. They continue to push forward in achieving as many goals as possible, with Goal #1 being their primary focus. In an interesting read in an article from CNN, I learned that mental health in Kenya, much like many countries is a problem that continues to persist. It is estimated that nearly 3 million Kenyans live with mental health issues. However overall there is not much support for those in Kenya living with mental illness.
