"The University-Community Partnership for Social Action Research Network ("UCP-SARnet" or "the Partnership") educates the next generation of community leaders and empowers them to deal with the most pressing global issues of our time."

Regional Coordinators are an international group of community activists who serve as ambassadors from their respective countries to the larger global community of organizations focused on addressing global issues, especially those related to the United Nations Millennium Development Goals.  Regional Coordinators provide local content to the Partnership’s online library of resources, and serve as facilitators of collaboration between community organizations, universities, local government, and UCP-SARnet.  They serve for at least one year, and represent the Partnership in their respective countries.

 All Regional Coordinators are expected to fulfill the following requirements:

• Become a member of UCP-SARnet; 
• Participate in virtual meetings/conferences as required;
• Regularly familiarize themselves with the status of the United Nations Millenium Development Goals, especially as it relates to their country;
• Regularly upload relevant content to their country page on the UCP-SARnet website, including moderating the discussion forum and posting events, videos, photos, links, articles, etc.
• Identify at least one new Regional Coordinator per year;
• Invite at least five new individual members per year;
• Facilitate collaboration between at least five community-based organizations and UCP-SARnet per year;
• Facilitate introductions to one potential funder per year; and
• Coordinate actions with other Regional Coordinators, if appropriate.
