2010 brings the annual eLearning Africa Conference! The eLearning Africa 5th International Conference on ICT for Development, Education and Training is the perfect networking experience for those involved in eLearning strategy, implementation, or management. The 2010 eLearning Africa Conference is meant to continue meeting the "networking needs of the pan-African eLearning and distance education sector".  

Taking place in the Mulungushi International Conference Centre in Lusaka, Zambia under the patronage of the Zambian Minister of Education, the Honorable Ms Dora. Siliya, the conference will be the "key networking venue for practitioners and professionals from Africa and all over the world". Opening times of the Conference have yet to be announced, however at the current time, 425 submitted proposals are being reviewed for inclusion in the Conference program. The Conference is sure to be a wonderful educational experience!

This pan-African event will include the "largest gathering of eLearning and distance education professionals in Africa". To be held in both English and French, eLearning Africa 2010 will include plenary sessions, special focus sessions, demonstrations, debates, and exhibitions from leading international eLearning manufacturers, suppliers and service providers presenting their latest products and services. Also, preceding the conference will be a full day of workshops conducted by leading eLearning practitioners.

The fees include VAT, conference materials, a conference CD-ROM, coffee breaks and luncheons on May 27th and 28th, 2010. Group rates are available upon request. The above-mentioned fees do not include pre-conference events, accommodation, travel costs or the Book of Abstracts.

Please note that African participation is being partially subsidised by ICWE, and is being granted a discount of € 320 towards the standard conference registration fee of € 590.

If you apply for a bursary, you may not register for the conference before the results are announced.

Bursaries for African Nationals Based in Africa
