The World Youth Alliance Africa will be hosting a major continental youth conference from the 25th- 26th of November 2011 in Nairobi, Kenya. The conference brings together over 100 youth leaders from over 15 African countries.

Meeting Highlights: Discussion of the status of various projects this semester – Stand Up thoughts, Leadership Summit status, the Interfaith Campus Challenge project and finally progress of the Forks for Change club. "Walk in Her Shoes" Club Event this Monday Evening, see flyer below. Discussion of member tasks and what we each have left to do over these final weeks.

On November 7th, 2011 UCP-SARnet and Forks For Change joined forces to ignite this year's Stand Up Against Poverty event. The event was in support of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals with an emphasis on the goal of, "Ending Poverty and Hunger". Many more organizations came to support our cause including, Samaritan Care Foundation (ASU Chapter), HIV/Aids Awareness club, and ASU4Food all joined in to help.
