Meeting Purpose: What can we do for this final week?
Date: April 20, 2012
Time: 9am – 11am

Since we were unable to get a media-help workshop going for this meeting we instead took the time to discuss the last steps to take for projects we have been working on and also took time to discuss what we would like to see run differently. Our final meeting will be next Friday and that will be the time to get updates on all of the meetings Dr. Wosinski and Osee had this week as well as to close with suggestions as to what changes should go about to help the executive team run more effectively.

Library Project

As mentioned last week, Alexis is collecting educational children's books for orphans in Africa and she is also collecting text books for the Gandhi College of Social Work in India. Alexis will send us the flyers so that we can use them to reach out to people we know to see if they have books that they would like to donate for either of these projects. Anyone who would like to donate their unused books for Elementary School, High School or the University level please contact Alexis for more information at alhuth@asu.edu.

Our Last Week

As this is the last week of our working semester before we all branch off for the summer, we discussed some of the things that could be done in this final week apart from finishing up whatever can be done for each of our tasks. For instance, time sheets need to be turned in next meeting so everyone updating their timesheets and making sure that that all information is properly recorded and correct would be useful for us to know in the future how much time it takes to work on various projects and tasks. Also, we need to come up with suggestions about how our experience with UCP-SARnet was this Spring and how it can be improved in future semesters; these suggestions will need to be printed for the next meeting. The rest of the meeting was dedicated to us discussing some changes that we would like to see and we will elaborate on these next week.
