Grants will be awarded as a single payment for the Australian valued of between AUD20,000–AUD100,000 depending on the project requirements. It is expected that most projects will be for a one year duration, but some projects may take place over a maximum of two years. All 1 year projects must be completed by July 2013. All two year project must be completed by July 2014.
The deadline to submit proposals is 14 October 2011.
The Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) is now open to accepting applications for the Human Rights Grants Scheme (HRGS). The Scheme provides funding opportunity to organizations involved in building the capacity of organizations in developing countries to promote and protect human rights in direct and tangible ways.

Catholic Relief Services' International Development Fellows Program (IDFP) gives people who are interested in a career in international relief and development an opportunity to increase their overseas experience and gain exposure to our programs. Each year, CRS places approximately 25 Fellows with our country programs overseas. Assignments are for one year, typically starting at the end of July.

The Asia Pacific Leadership Program (APLP)is the center of excellence for leadership education in Asia Pacific and a signature program of the East-West Center. The program links advanced and interdisciplinary analysis of emergent regional issues with experiential leadership learning.
APLP graduates leave the East-West Center with an expanded regional perspective. They are knowledgeable about the societies and issues of the Asia Pacific region and empowered to exercise leadership and promote cooperation in a variety of cultural, geographical and institutional environments.
