About UCP-SARnet

Mission 
UCP-SARnet utilizes information and communication technologies (ICT) to engage, educate and empower a new generation of community leaders.
Organizational Structure 
Developed at the Department of Psychology of Arizona State University in close collaboration with partners from Australia, Canada, England, Italy and Poland. Hosted by CIGI in Canada, UCP-SARnet is a member of the Global Alliance for Community Engaged Research (GACER), and of the Global Alliance for ICT and Development (GAID).
Impact
From Arizona State University in Arizona (USA) to SIAS International University in Zhengzhou (China), UCP-SARnet is continuously Bridging the World.
Goals For 2010
In addition to hosting and developing an online library of resources for community leaders, UCP-SArnet will be initiating new courses, seeking new partnerships and organizing virtual conferences.
History
From the idea bat the Firsorn at the First International Conference on Community Psychology in Puerto Rico (2006), to its presence at numerous international conferences, UCP-SARnet continues to evolve as a globally recognized platform unifying university faculty, students, community leaders and governmental officials in their efforts to achieve United Nations Millennium Development Goals.
