Nafiz is the Founder President of the Bangladesh Association of Young Researcher, only national youth research association in Bangladesh. He is also the Executive Director and Founder of Information Society Today, an organization registered as a trust in the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs in Bangladesh to promote information related activities.He is an ASIS&T international paper contest winner.
